Privacy Policy

Effective October 2, 2026

TabBridge is a browser extension that helps you review product listing information from a source product page you have open and copy fields into your destination seller form. The extension is designed to work locally in your browser. This policy explains what information is processed, where it goes, and your rights over it.

1. What TabBridge processes on your device

When you use the extension, it may process the following information locally in your browser:

  • Listing title, price, description, bullet points, product specifications, SKU or ASIN, and image URLs from the source product page you choose to scan.
  • Temporary image data created in your browser so selected images can be downloaded locally and manually uploaded to a destination seller form.
  • Your edits to listing fields and your selected destination marketplace.
  • Reviewed source and selling currencies and prices. These drafts remain on your device and are not sent to TabBridge servers.
  • The URL and hostname needed to identify the Amazon® source page and the supported destination page.
  • A local scan count and calendar-month identifier used to apply the plan usage limit.
  • Your extension token and associated plan tier (Free, Pro, or Studio), stored locally after you voluntarily connect a TabBridge account. If connected, the token, a UUID operation ID, and the current billing period (e.g., 2026-09) are transmitted to tabbridge.replit.app over HTTPS on each scan for server-side usage accounting and plan verification.
  • Your consent choices for each marketplace consent modal, stored locally.

2. Local-first data handling

Listing content (title, price, description, bullets, images, specs) is stored in Chrome extension storage on your device using chrome.storage.local and is never sent to TabBridge servers. You can clear the stored listing at any time using the extension's Clear listing control. Uninstalling the extension removes its local storage according to Chrome's standard storage-removal behavior.

Account-connected data — if you connect a TabBridge account, the extension sends your bearer token, a UUID operation ID, and the billing period to tabbridge.replit.app over HTTPS on each scan. This is used for idempotent server-side scan accounting and to verify your plan tier. The server returns your account email, plan tier, and monthly scan limit; the email is then stored locally. No listing content is included in any of these requests.

The extension service worker may fetch Amazon®-hosted image URLs directly from your browser to convert approved image responses into local file data for download. Those network requests go to the image host named in the listing URL — not to TabBridge.

3. Chrome Web Store — limited use declaration

TabBridge's use of information obtained through Chrome browser APIs and from pages the user visits is limited to the extension's single stated purpose: transferring user-reviewed listing data between open browser tabs. TabBridge does not:

  • Transfer user data to third parties except as necessary to operate the extension or as required by law.
  • Use or transfer data for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose.
  • Use or transfer data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
  • Use listing data for advertising or behavioral profiling.
  • Sell user data.

This declaration applies to all data obtained from Chrome browser APIs, including host permissions, storage, scripting, and tabs APIs, as required by the Google Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies.

TabBridge's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Third-party services

When you use the TabBridge website (https://tabbridge.replit.app) or create an account, the following third-party services may receive information:

  • Clerk — handles account sign-in, sign-up, and session management on the website. Clerk may process your email address and authentication credentials. See Clerk's Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe — processes subscription payments if you upgrade to a paid plan. Stripe receives your payment card details and billing information directly; TabBridge does not store payment card numbers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

The browser extension itself does not interact with Clerk or Stripe. Account plan data is communicated to the extension only via your extension token, which is stored locally on your device.

5. Cookies and website tracking

The TabBridge website may use cookies or similar technologies set by Clerk for authentication session management. TabBridge does not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or behavioral analytics. The browser extension does not set or read cookies on marketplace pages.

6. Page access and permissions

The extension uses Chrome permissions to read source product pages and to interact with supported Shopify Seller, eBay Seller, Walmart Seller, and TikTok Seller pages. Its content scripts inspect only the listing fields, upload controls, and page structure needed for the transfer. The extension does not intentionally read passwords, payment details, private messages, or unrelated page content for storage or transmission.

Each marketplace page you open and choose to use processes information under that platform's own privacy policy and terms of service, which TabBridge does not control.

7. Optional on-device AI

For Walmart Seller and TikTok Seller title trimming, TabBridge may use Chrome's locally available window.ai capability when present. The prompt and listing title remain in the browser and are not sent to any TabBridge or third-party server. If the local capability is unavailable, TabBridge uses a deterministic local character-trimming rule instead.

8. Data security

Listing content is stored using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API, which is isolated to the extension and inaccessible to other extensions or websites by default. No listing content traverses TabBridge-operated servers, so TabBridge cannot experience a server-side breach of listing content. Your extension token is stored locally and transmitted over HTTPS to verify your plan tier and record scan counts with the TabBridge API. All API communication uses HTTPS.

9. Retention and deletion

TabBridge retains the active listing in local extension storage until you clear it, replace it with another listing, or uninstall the extension. Your marketplace consent choices and local scan counter are also stored locally and cleared on uninstall. No listing content is retained by TabBridge because no TabBridge backend receives it.

A limited set of reviewed-price drafts is retained separately in local extension storage to restore your inputs. Clearing the active listing does not remove those saved drafts. They are replaced as newer drafts are saved, or removed when you uninstall the extension. Disconnecting your account is not a request to delete server-side account or billing records.

If you have a TabBridge account, the server retains your scan count records and plan tier for usage enforcement. Your account data (email, plan tier) is held by the TabBridge service and Clerk for as long as the account is active. You may request deletion by contacting successmaster59@gmail.com.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal data we hold about you, and to opt out of certain data uses. Because listing content and calculator inputs remain on your device, server-side requests concern account, plan and usage records held by TabBridge and its service providers.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. TabBridge does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise these rights, contact us at successmaster59@gmail.com.

EEA / UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Our lawful basis for processing account data is contract performance (providing the service you signed up for). To exercise these rights, contact us at successmaster59@gmail.com.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your relevant data protection authority, including the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK. Privacy requests are assessed under the applicable law; local processing alone is not a guarantee that all use of the extension meets GDPR requirements.

Canada and Australia: Where applicable privacy law gives you access, correction or complaint rights, use the same privacy contact to make a request about personal information held by TabBridge. Store availability does not replace the requirements of your local privacy or consumer law.

11. Children

TabBridge is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the extension, data practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published. Material changes will be noted in the extension update log. For privacy questions, contact successmaster59@gmail.com.

Chrome Web Store single-purpose disclosure: TabBridge's sole purpose is to help sellers copy product listing data from an Amazon® tab into their own seller forms. It does not sell, transfer, or use user data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to this single function.
